I must admit I’m not crazy about the Shadow Hearts game series, but this tune is a creepy little gem. As it turns out, it is one of the main battle themes, so you get to hear the chromatic waves and chinese cymbals and creepy singing lady almost every time the game decides you need to fight something. I decided to be pretty loose with tuning and rhythm in this one, to present the effect of chaos. Basically I want people to listen to it and feel like someone just died and there’s a plague and also there’s a demonic procession somewhere.
